Hourly Rates
April 2022 is fast approaching and there are changes from April 1st for employee hourly pay rates.
The new hourly rates will be as follows.

Age 23+ Hourly Rate £9.50
Age 21-22 Hourly Rate £9.18
Age 18-20 Hourly Rate £6.83
Age 16-17 Hourly Rate £4.81
Apprentice Hourly Rate £4.81

From April 2022, the Apprentice hourly rate will be aligned in value with the hourly rate for 16–17-year-olds.

National Insurance
From April 2022 National Insurance contributions will increase for one year. The amount the employer and employee contributes will increase by 1.25 percent. This will be spent on the NHS and social care in the UK.
Employee NI will increase to 13.25%
Employer NI will increase to 15.05%
